We all know the practical definition of insanity: continue to do the same things but expect different results.  For most of us that means that we have to stop doing some existing things to make room for the new and better things.  At a minimum, we must change the way we are doing some old habits to create newer and more effective ones.  This Michael Hyatt post is helpful:
